In the meme time!

The first five people to respond to this post, will get some form of art, by me, about them. I make no guarantees about quality or type, but I will assure that I will give it good effort and that the art will be individual to you, so if you get a mixed CD or some sort of painting doodle, yours is the only one like it.

The only catch, of course; as with most memes, if you sign up, you have to put this in your own journal as well.

Also, I make no promises about response time. I'll try to do them in a timely fashion, but I can't guarantee inspiration will strike immediately ;)

swiped from katiiis who swiped it from pirategrrl-
please make sure I have an address.

Brothers!

I'm deeply irritated by my brother at the moment! But more on that later.

I was supposed to leave for Houston Wed. evening; except that someone decided to run over the plane. One of the ground-crew lost control of a hydraulic truck and hit the left engine damageing, at a minimum, the outer casing. So we all de-planed and waited to see if we would get out that night. I didn't make it. They gave me a hotel room and food vouchers; which I used. My flight left at 7:10 AM so, I figured I would stay at the airport so Chris and Mel would not have to get up early to take me to the airport, again!
My Parents 50th anniversary party was great fun! I saw cousins and aunts that I have not seen in a while. The food was great the dancing was good! My Dad's toast was beautiful to my Mom! Yay Dad!

Now to my brother. The party was a formal dinner with a sit down meal. The invites were double enveloped with rsvp cards. My Mom had to turn in the final count for attendees 48 hrs prior to the party. My brother calls on Thurs. afternoon(party is Fri at 6:30) to ask if it is ok to bring My neice's friend Amy along. She explained to him that final counts had been turned in; he asked to her to call and check anyway. My Mother was livid and upset, my dad was pissed because he upset Mom. When they arrived with Amy in tow, My Mom pulled my bro aside and explained that the caterer said it was too late, but that Amy was welcome at all the other family events. On Fri afternoon Sarah made a comment about Amy being at the party. My Mom's face fell into complete shock. Amy stormed out of my parents house and slammed the door my sister-in-law was almost behind her. I told my neice Sarah that mom had talked to Jeff about what the caterer had said; she and her mom said yes and they had all discussed it back at the hotel and decided that the little boys wouldn't eat much so there would be plenty for Amy and a seat since the youngest could be held. Then my sister-in-law stormed through the kitchen hitting my sister and shoving her into the fridge, then slamming out the door. My Brother was reemed by his wife and then partially by our mom. So I blame all this stupidity on my brother, who seems to be unable to take responsibility for anything. My sister-in-law has become more hostile over the last year to our mom, won't speak to her, doesn't really want her kids to see my mom, or talk to her. this all started getting worse after my parents wanted to take their oldest daughter to europe for a week as a graduation present. But her mother didn't want her to go and said no. However my brother told my mom that they were still discussing it. So my mom called and said she needed an answer so they could get plane tickets. My sister-in-law went off on my mother, was exceptionally rude to her including bad language-name calling. My mom is 72 there is no reason to be that rude to anyone let alone a 72 year old who is trying to do something nice for her grandaughter. It is equally stupid in that My sister went to europe when she was 17, I went when I was 17, and last but not least Cheri-the-sister-in-law went when she was 17 also!! So why the big deal??
Anywho it was a lot of unneccessary stress and tension my parents didn't need. And yes Amy did come to the party.

Had a blast with my sister and her fiance/husband(whatever) and her daughter.
